| 47 years and on, no free and fair elections, no standard census, no sovereign national conference and $400 Billion dollars squandered all under Hausa/fulani and Yoruba Oligarchs like Olusegun Obasanjo. It still continues - squeezing the East, exploiting their resources, intimidating and strengthening the Caliphate hegemony. Obasanjo and Gowon have remained servants of the Islamic north for no good to the rest of Nigeria. Illegitimate Yar' Adua prepares for the next rigged elections in 2011. Sad. |

| "....a journal by the American State Department,.... stated that (Olusegun) Obasanjo masterminded the failure of the (April 2007) elections. The stinging publication exposes both Obasanjo and (Abubakar) Atiku (VP)as the architects of election rigging in Nigeria since 1999 when they came to power."..."The scathing article is written by Jean Herskovits, (a former) Officer of the CIA in charge of African Affairs..." ------- Daily Independent Newspapers. | Nigeria runs, not a claimed federal system of government but a unitary system with 90% of constitutional powers usurped and concentrated at the center from where elections are profusely rigged and criminals imposed as political leaders on the people. Most of the country's leaders from the north (Tafawa Balewa, Yakubu Gowon, Muritala Mohammed, Shehu Shagari, Badamosi Babangida, Abacha etc) and Olusegun Obasanjo denied Nigerians freedom. Political policy are enforced by intimidation and violence. |

| The State in Africa demonstrates a glaring inability to fulfill its basic role. It does not provide security and welfare nor does it enable the growth and expression of society's transformative capacities. It is virtually at war with its peoples, having murdered 15 million in Biafra, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Rwanda, Darfur, Southern Sudan, Somalia, Angola, the Congos and elsewhere in the continent between 1966 and 2007. |

| "Former Head of State Gen. Yakubu Gowon(Rtd) has come hard on present and past African leaders (also himself as Nigeria's Head of State, 1967 - 1975) especially the military saying that their greed kept the continent from developing several decades after political independence.." While the continent continues to be ravaged by wars, hunger and diseases, our leaders continue to engage themselves in endless, yet futile battles for supremacy in greed and destruction." --- Vanguard News. | "...I told him(Yakubu Gowon) that the generation to which I belong had failed and we should politely leave the stage for the younger generation to take over. Nigeria is totally messed up today and nothing appears to be working.." ---- Theophilus Danjuma (Jukun Tribe) former defense minister. Guardian Newspapers. Wednesday March 5, 2008. Is it Danjuma's generation that failed or he and his genocidist cabal? |
