It still continues - squeezing the East, exploiting their resources, intimidating and strengthening the Caliphate hegemony. Obasanjo and Gowon have remained servants of the Islamic north for no good to the rest of Nigeria. Illegitimate Yar' Adua prepares for the next rigged elections in 2011. Sad. |

| Nigeria runs, not a claimed federal system of government but a unitary system with 90% of constitutional powers usurped and concentrated at the center from where elections are profusely rigged and criminals imposed as political leaders on the people. Most of the country's leaders from the north (Tafawa Balewa, Yakubu Gowon, Muritala Mohammed, Shehu Shagari, Badamosi Babangida, Abacha etc) and Olusegun Obasanjo denied Nigerians freedom. Political policy are enforced by intimidation and violence. |
