Amazing Grace using throat singing overtones

Video Description:
(Correction from the video): doing a little overtone singing on the hymn "Amazing Grace" (not Tuvan). For those of you that are much experienced I appreciate your comments and your thoughts. Just to let people know, I am intentionally doing the more Western approach by not making my voice throaty like the authentic Tuvan/Mongolian style. I am a classical vocalist so I prefer not to produce nodules.

Nodules are little hard buildups on your vocal chords that result from the damage caused by using a harsh voice. If you listen to death metal, you may note that their singers, after a while, can't sing anymore, because nodule build up has made it impossible for them.
Basically, as a classical singer, he doesn't want to damage his vocal chords, and so avoids using a harsh voice, like the Tuvans do when throat singing.

Kinda. Tuvan throat singing uses the harsh voice, and so does death grunting. After that, they're rather different, although the 'pig squeel' utilizes overtones, just like throat singing.
