I wholeheartedly disagree.
I am a huge Superman fan and I found this movie to be an exemplary depiction of him, Luthor, Doomsday, etc., and quite an enjoyable one at that.

Instead it was on idiot/cheesy Luthor. Superman is too much of a pussy, most of these so called 'superheroes' are. Why? Think about...Luthor is captured and always escapes justice, and kills again and again and again. In order to stop this, Superman must execute Luthor. Otherwise, Superman condones murder. Recent Batman movie, Batman friends are killed because he could not do the right thing, execute the Joker.

but the thing is Batman and Superman don't kill. That's why you never see them intentionally kill someone. They would become the villian if they were to kill everyone that they thought was wrong.

Exactly, thus they are actually the villians. They let serial killers, mass murderers get away, time and again, instead of finishing them off. That is not justice. Now imagine living in such a farce of a reality!

hmm that doenst make much sense. Let's just say that Batman and Superman were Policemen. Do you go around seeing The police kill every singe criminal that they put away? no of course not. they bring those criminals in and if they escape then they go after them to try and catch them again. The police will kill only if nessicary...like if they were being shot at. but Bats and super are not like them at all. They wont kill.

We are dealing with super villians, thus the regular justice system would be incapable of handling them. But letting them go to jail, escape, committ murder again, encore to infinity, Superman et al are condoning their actions, obviously.

Think about it, The main characters in the story would be Just like the villian.
you wouldnt get to point out pros and cons
everyone would be evil and it would be no fun. It really wouldnt be a greatt story either.

You are asking them to play God by determining who gets to live and who gets to die. All in all, I think you should ditch the Superheroes and watch Dexter- that show will satisfy your needs :)

this is based on the 1993 multi issue crossover story line where superman dies at the hand of Doomesday. It was later turned into a graphic novel In the DC comic unverse this story line has become a bit of an Elseworld subject meaning it took place on one of the other 52 realitys in the In the DC universe.
