He's right! but for the wrong reasons. Starbuck is owned by ALTRIA a transonctinental company (multinational) which exploits poor starving people of the third world country. They own Kraft-maxwell house and so many other brand names. A reason more to buy fairtrade (but not from those shmucks who also sell non fair-trade).

Of course the coffee isn't worth what you pay for it. If it was once overheads are factored in the company would run at a loss.
You pay the money for the whole environment, thats why you pay more to eat in than take out and why you don't stay at home and drink your own coffee in the first place!

Jackie Mason is the greatest! I'm the only anti-semitic guy I know that loves Jews because of guys like Jackie Mason! In my previous life, I would eat at restaurants and leave a 15% tip. Now it's a communal tipping cup at Starbucks?! For a cup of coffee? Give me a break! I also limited myself giving homeless people money to a quarter each, and only when asked. But I will never be such a schmuck as to put a quarter into a Starbucks tipping cup. So I give myself the tips and I'm getting richer.

Ol' Jackie got on a roll! He's right! BURNT coffee. I used to enjoy a Starbucks latte, but never liked their regular blends. I speak for many people I know. I made a suggestion that they try a genuinely MILD coffee, but I guess in their arrogance I'm someone to be ignored.
They'll be out of business soon, or transformed by another company.
Too bad. I admire Howard Schulz, even though the original Starbucks owners wanted no part of his McDonald's approach to their coffee.
