Omaha Police follow a robbery suspect who fires on officers during the pursuit as well as a shootout at the end, where one cruiser ends up in a less than desireable position.
Officer Rech was recently named an OPD officer of the year for 2007.

wow that was pretty intense, what the heck were the cops firing with 22's damn the robber got shot 5times and still lived. He made vilent effort to get away but in the end about 5 crusiers a helicopter I could here, and mulitple cops, there was no chance for the guy. If he didn't shot back he would probably only got 15 yrs, and probably less with good behavior. So much for that. Damn they through the book at this guy 30yrs, shit that is a life sentence.

lol, yeah. I think the cop who drove into the water was trying to get clear of the gunman who was right next to his cruiser, and didn't realize it dropped off into the pond as he veered right. I can see myself doing that too, haha. I'm just surprised you did hear "FUCK!" from inside the cabin. That would have been me.
