Woah. They say the dancing in the movie was intense for back then in the 1960s. Well, they were wrong. Their dancing is intense for our time!
West Side Story is amazing! I especially love the part where three of the Jets just burst out snapping their fingers in the alley while chasing somebody.

A timeless classic although the gangs don;t look nearly as tough as they did 30 years ago before puberty. They could rename this movie "West Pride Story" The gayest movie ever made. But give them credit. It is still a masterpiece, easily in the top ten all time best.
