"When we wrote this song, I drew inspiration from the story in the Bible that tells about the woman caught in adultery. She was thrown at the feet of Jesus, and the religious leaders of the day were looking for Him to condemn her according to their laws. Instead, He asked each of them to punish her according to the level of their own perfection, and they had nothing to say. I tried to think how she must have felt, to be turned free and unpunished although she was guilty. This song is about breaking free and going further and higher than you or anyone ever expected. | They've used that as an excuse. I didn't start to support Raye Dawn until late last July, 2007. Until then, NOBODY publicly supported her besides her family and NOBODY was trying to free her. They started a bashboard in her name and all the hate was ONLY directed at her and her family while they took up for Mike. So I can't buy yet another excuse as to why they haven't attacked Mike Porter. It's disgusting! |
