The problem with this movie is :IT IS NOT TRANSFORMER, the robots are alike, the story is different, the... lets say anything but the names are different.
The true name of this movie is :BIONICLES THE MOVIE.

FINALLY, someone agrees with me. it was a good movie, but for sure wasnt mind blowing. optimus prime could of(and should of)been more bad ass. still megan fox is in it.

I thought the first half of the movie was great, some moments were really funny& it began like a really nice movie. And the CGI FX are the highest standard of today. But like with candy, if you see (/eat) too much of it, it gets boring. At the end's CGI FX you go "meh, I've already seen for 2 hours how cool the FX are". & the second half of the movie gets like.. to the bottom. Including the climax. The climax goes 20 mins!! C'mon! And the rest is - srsly - SHIT. Dull, dumb and stupid.

I totally agree with James Rolfe. Transformers is a pretty good movie but as fan of the original cartoon shows, I was disappointed that the movie emphasized a lot more on the humans perspective as opposed to the Transformer's perspectives- which sucks ass. And yes, I also agree with their choice of soundtrack. Could've been better. Overall, I did't quite enjoy the film despite the world thinking it's the best movie ever cos it's not. It's pretty good but I wouldn't watch it again. My rating: 3/5

one of the things i dont like in this movie...
is when they are in robot forms, they sure have a lot of scratches, but when they transform back to their original selves, cars, trucks or whatever, their scratches mysteriously disappears, but oh well... they couldnt scratch that bumblebee... its a freakin too expensive car to be scratched at...

man, so true. This movie was average. The sort of film people forget about less then a year later. A true fan should have made this, not Michael Bay, I mean, since when does Michael Bay make good movies? Pearl Harbor? Armageddon? The Island? Bad Boys? Come on! Why did they let him direct this movie?

the biggest thing that bothered me during the movie were all the advertising... for example: all Autobots are made of famous carbrands thats get zoomed in on wich brand it is, but asside that its a good movie.
