karatemaster64, you are correct. Its hapkido and not taekwondo. Whang Ing Sik started learning Tang Soo Do first before switching to hapkido when he was 13.

This is a masterpiece. The barren setting, Whang Sik's increasing irritation turning into fear, Chan's eighty-something different strategies, the technique itself, and of course Chan's sounds and faces . . . pure greatness.

The best villain in any Jackie Chan film! What a fighter those holds were just remarkable from 1.35- 2.20 - It so realistic excellent skill display was that Aikido? Thats what it seemed like
